Charles will always be lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice Hammond Tillis, and children; Charles (Wanda) Tillis Jr., Randy (Jackie) Tillis and Ellender (Kevin) Sylvester, thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren, three brothers: Leo (Jackie) Tillis, Micheal and Ray Tillis; three sisters: Shirley Seaberry, Janice (Miller) Hagans, and Margie Hemphill; two aunts Pinkie Mae Wilson and Margie Thomas, a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was a native of Greensburg, a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired sanitation worker.
