TINSLEY, GLADNEY J.
Dr. Gladney J. Tinsley, 55, President of Southeastern Louisiana College,
died Saturday in Hammond.  Memorial services were held Sunday at the
college; the Poole Funeral Home was in charge; interment was Monday in
Haynesville.  He is survived by his widow, the former Maud Hood of Bastrop,
La.; two brothers and five sisters; Wm. Tinsley of Houston, Tex., John
Tinsley of Miami, Okla., Mrs. A. H. White of Greensville, Miss., Mrs.
William Bufkin of Homer, Mrs. James Simmons of Haynesville, Mrs. Cora Ball
of Albuquerque, N.Mex., Mrs. Arnett Kendrick of Ruston, La.; and his
mother, Mrs. G. Monroe Tinsley of Haynesville.  (Obit is extensive, two
pages.)
