Mr. Hezzie Bienville Tisdale Jr., 66 years old and a resident of Hammond, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at his home. He was born Sunday, Feb. 25, 1940, in New Orleans, son of the late Hezzie Bienville Sr. and Arilla Loyd Tisdale. Mr. Tisdale was the former owner of Hammond Heights Water Co. and a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He also served in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Army's 504th Military Police Battalion. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Imbraguglio Tisdale of Covington; daughter, Lea Tisdale Richerson of Covington; son, Brett Tisdale of McComb, Miss.; four grandchildren, Blake and Parker Richerson, and Madeline and Hayes Tisdale; and his brother, Tommy Tisdale of Grapevine, Texas. Joseph I. Tisdale, 83 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, at North Oaks Medical Center. Joe was born on Monday, October 15, 1928, in Winter Garden, Florida. Joe served in the United States Coast Guard and retired with Conoco after 30 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion and a Mason with the Livingston Lodge #160. He was also a member of the Cruisin Cajuns Motor Home Club of Louisiana. He was a true Louisiana sportsman who loved to hunt and fish and taught his grandsons his love for the outdoors. Surviving are his wife, Lucy Tisdale; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Tisdale and Ian Crozier and Debra Tisdale and Michael Foley; 4 grandchildren, Deandra Holcomb, Jason Sandefur, Bradley Foley, and Adam Foley; step-grandchild, Sean Crozier; 2 great-grandchildren, Athony Satirieon and Tucker Foley and his mother Bianca Takacs; and sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bob Kelley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mattie Sanford and Henry Tisdale; and brother, J. W. Tisdale.
