He was 65 and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 16. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, conducted by the Rev. James Staggs. Graveside service at Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Arcola, at 2 p.m. Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Diana Hendry Toler; three daughters, Kristen Toler, Cathy Mabile and Dee Dee Dupree, all of Baton Rouge; three sons, Kevin Toler, Bob Toler Jr. and Brian Toler, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Diane Toler Wood and Miriam Toler Rodgers, Griffin, Ga.; three brothers, Timothy Toler, Baton Rouge, Aubrey Toler, Chandler, Ariz., and Steven Toler, Marietta, Ga.; and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Dean Wood Toler and Dorothy Heine Toler. Pallbearers will be Bryan Cardin, Brian Toler, Bob Toler, Steve Toler, Aubrey Toler and Tim Toler. Honorary pallbearers are Roy Smith, Jim Rich and Sean Erp. He was known for his sense of humor, big heart and sharp wit. He deeply loved his family and friends and loved all LSU sports and his best friend and dog, Drake. He was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School, Class of 1958, and was a member of the Baton Rouge First Church of the Nazarene. ***************************************************************************
