She was 71 and a native of Covington. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 9 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Monday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Entombment in Rose Memorial Mausoleum. Survived by her husband, Fred Trapp, Hammond; a son, Fred Trapp III, Baton Rouge; four daughters, Linda Chustz, Hammond, Janis Taoromina, LaPlace, Ann Wolf, Baton Rouge, and Arlene Gandy, Mountain Home, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; and two sisters, Yvonne Romig, New Orleans, and Carole Maniscalco, Springfield. Preceded in death by parents, Anthony and Isabelle Correge Maniscalco; a sister, Helen Watson; and a brother, Joseph Maniscalco. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Ghost Catholic Church or North Oaks Hospice.
