TREGRE, VIOLA FOLSE
Viola Folse Tregre, 98, of Manchac died Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at Belle
Maison Nursing Home. She was born on Aug. 17, 1908, in Vacherie, the
daughter of the late Alexander and Seraphine Matherne Folse, and wife of
the late Matthew Tregre. Surviving her are two sons and daughters-in-law,
Paul and Irene Tregre and Louie and Joyce Tregre; six grandchildren, Carrie
Odem, Brenda Iverstine, Louie Tregre Jr., Frank Tregre, Ronald Tregre and
Gerald Tregre; 11 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; and
a brother, Louis Folse. Preceded in death by seven brothers and three
sisters. Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home,
Ponchatoula, on Thursday, Aug. 9, from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Mass will be
celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Ponchatoula, at 1 p.m. Thursday.
Interment in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to:
