TRIANA, JASPER "JACK"
Jasper "Jack" Triana passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Specialty 
LTCH Hospital in Hammond at the age of 90. He was a native of Lyman MS, a 
longtime resident of New Orleans and resided in Hammond for the past 20 
years. Jack was a longtime construction worker, parishioner of Holy Ghost 
Catholic Church and served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  Jack 
leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Lucille Triana; daughters, Jacklyn
Lovatt and husband Bill, Lana Zeiss and husband Grady; sons, Mark Triana
and Robert O'Brien-Triana; former wife and mother of his children, Emma 
Licharda; step-daughter, Carolyn Dente and husband Steve; step-son, Charles 
Williams; grandchildren, Chris, Carrie, Cassie, Leslie, Blake, Daniel, 
Andrea and Matthews; step-grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacey, Robert, Trevor, 
Tommy, Morey, Steven and Cati, along with numerous great-grandchildren, 
step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his 
sisters, Nina Schneider, Jenny Lessa and Anna Pavolini.  He was preceded in 
death by his daughter, Joann Colomb; son, Sal Triana; grandson, Michael 
Lovatt; step-son, Robert O'Brien; brother, Roy Triana; sisters, Angie 
Peterson, Christina Fuller, Kathy Hirth and Mary Hurlbert.  Relatives and 
friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel
of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 
10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 
Holy Ghost Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Fr. Cayet Mangiarcina, OP will 
celebrate the Mass and interment will follow in Rose Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Collins, Travis Bennett, Luke Canzoneri, Chris
Colomb, Mike Peterson and Danny Peterson.  Condolence and other information

entrusted to Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home of Hammond.
