TRICE, LILLIE ALICE COATS  

BATON ROUGE - Lillie Alice Coats Trice, 62, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at 
her home. She was a native of Springfield, a member of Lanier Baptist 
Church, and a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. Survivors 
include her husband, Jerry N. Trice, Baton Rouge; two sons, Charles Allen 
"Chuck" Trice,Orlando, Fla., Michael Lee "Mike" Trice, Pineville; sister, 
Thelma Coats Boullion, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Eugene Allen, David 
G. and Johnny C. Coats, all of Springfield; three grandchildren. Her 
father, Eugene H. Coats; mother, Alice Allen Coats; four brothers, Dallas 
G., Henry C., James J. "Jack" and Robert C. "Bob" Coats, preceded her in 
death. The Rev. Sidney Newell, the Rev. T.W. Terrell and the Rev. Sammy 
David conducted the funeral this afternoon at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 
Baton Rouge, and burial was in Carter's Cemetery, Springfield.

TRICE, MARCELLA MARIE 
Marcella Marie Trice, a 44-year-old caregiver of Clarksdale, Miss., died
April 28, 2007 in Hammond.  Survivors are her father, Odell Carter; one
son, DeCarlos Trice; three sister, Shanta Jackson, Adele Jackson and Vicki
Carter; four brother, Michael Trice, Orlando Tate, Chris Jefferson and
Jackie Harper; and two grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her
mother, Alice Trice; her sister, Shandel Jackson.  Visitation will be at
N.A. James Funeral Home, Hammnd, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral will
be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Ricks Chapel Church. Burial at Rocky Hill
Cemetery.
