TRIMM, MARIE L. 
Marie L. Trimm, 70, a native of Hammond, LA, and a long time resident of
Morgan City, LA, lost her courageous 2 year battle with breast cancer on
Monday, May 19, 2008.  Marie was filled with love for others and joy for
life. Her kindness and compassion for others was remarkable. With warmth
and laughter, she lit up the room wherever she went. Marie never met a
stranger.  Marie taught elementary school for 33 years. She was an active
member of the local chapter of AAPR where she enjoyed line dancing with her
girlfriends, playing cards, chapter meals, trips, and monthly dances with
her loving companion, J. H. "Dickie" Written.  Marie is survived by three
sons Philip Anzalone and his wife Deborah of Saudi Arabia, John Anzalone
and his wife Sabrina of Ponchatoula, and Jeff Trimm and his wife Melissa of
Morgan City; three daughters Phyllis Anzalone and her husband Jefferson
(Jeff) Johnson of Houston, TX, Nancy Rhodes and her husband Clyde of Morgan
City, and Roeann Parsiola and her husband David of Belle Chase; thirteen
grandchildren Evan Anzalone, Elyse Anzalone, Chancie Rhodes, Cory Rhodes,
Cody Rhodes, Dana Anzalone, Michael Parsiola, Rebecca Parsiola, John Philip
Parsiola, Jay Johnson, Joshua Trimm, Justin Trimm, and Megan Trimm; and
three great-grandchildren Alexander, Matthew, and Gabriel Johnson.  Marie
is also survived by her loving companion, J.H. "Dickie" Written of Morgan
City; two brothers Sal Locascio of Gainesville, FL and Joseph Locascio of
Ranchos Palos Verde, CA; and sister Polly Richards of Tuscon, AZ.  Marie is
preceded in death by husbands Russell Collura and Ronnie Trimm; and her
parents Mary and John Locascio.  A celebration of Mariešs life will be
observed Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Hargrave
Funeral Home, resuming Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until 
3:00 p.m. in Hammond, LA. A Mass will be conducted at Holy Ghost Catholic
Church at 3:00 p.m.  Marie will be laid to rest in the Rose Memorial
Cemetery.  Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City has been entrusted with the
arrangements.
