TULLOS, IRMA ROBINSON

A resident of Hammond, she died Sunday, June 27, 1999, at North Oaks Medical 
Center, Hammond. She was 77 and a native of Silver Bow County, Mont. 
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. 
Tuesday and after 8 a.m. Wednesday. Religious services at the funeral home 
chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Ben Straton and the Rev. 
James Sullivan. Interment in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Survived by a 
daughter, Louise Taylor, Albany; two sons, Richard E. Landry, Magnolia, 
Miss., and John R. Jones Jr., Albany; a sister, Hazel J. Smith, Hammond; 12 
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, 
Earl and Julia Kennedy Robinson. She was a member of New Haven Baptist 
Church, Tickfaw.

TULLOS, RUFUS, SR. "LEE" 
Rufus "Lee" Tullos Sr. died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, near Fluker. He was 74,
a native of Belzoni, Miss., and a resident of Tangipahoa. Visitation at
McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. He is
survived by his wife, Karen Tullos, Tangipahoa; three sons, Howard "Peanut"
Tullos, Timothy "Chuck" Tullos and Rufus Lee "Rudy" Tullos Jr., all of
Tickfaw; three daughters, Rita Terry, Missouri, and Linda Chism and Dina
Tullos, both of Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
and a sister, Mary Ruth Istner, Amite. He was preceded in death by his
mother, Jamie Travis Tullos; father, Burnice Tullos; two sons, Bill Edward
Kirkland and Rusty Tullos; and three brothers, Sam Tullos, John Tullos and
Curtis Tullos. He was owner of Amite Used Tires. For more information,

TULLOS, SAMUEL BURNICE, JR. 
A resident of Tangipahoa, he died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Tickfaw. He
was 60 and a native of Belzoni, Miss. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home,
Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 3, and from 8 a.m. Friday
until religious service at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Andrew
Stafford. Interment in Natalbany Cemetery, Independence. He is survived by
Rosemary Hano, Independence, and Juanita Richard, Tangipahoa; seven
daughters, Inez Tullos, Tangipahoa, Cynthia Crouch, Wilmer, Callie
Blackwell, Norton, Miss., Eunice St. Romain, Tickfaw, Carol St. Romain,
Holden, and Janie St. Romain and Paulette Tullos, both of Independence;
four sons, Samuel Tullos Jr., Amite, Henry Joe Tullos, Independence, Samuel
"TT" Tullos, Morgan City, and Josh Arnone, Independence; a sister, Mary
Ruth Tullos, Amite; a brother, Rufus L. Tullos, Amite; 36 grandchildren and
six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burnice
Tullos and Janie Travis; a sister, Cynthia Tullos; two brothers, Curtis
Tullos and John Tullos; and former wife, Lillian Tullos.
