TURK, ALBERT LEROY
Albert "AL" Leroy Turk, 76 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away 
Sunday, August 28, 2011, at North Oaks Medical Center.  AL was born on 
Sunday, February 24, 1935, in Marysville, CA.  Surviving are wife, Lawanda 
Rush Turk, son and daughter-in-law Albert and Colette Turk Jr., son, Kevin 
Turk, daughter & son-in-law, Sandy and John Brothers, daughter, Vicki 
Stump, daughter & son-in-law, Katrina and Bill Murphy, also survived by 9 
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his 
parents, Myron and Cora Turk, son, Frank Turk, brothers and sisters.  
Friends will be received Friday, September 2, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 
9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond.  Sharing about AL's life will be 
held at Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, Friday, at 7:00 pm.  An on-line

TURK, LAWANDA RUSH
Lawanda Rush Turk, 71 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away 
Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at Belle Maison Nursing Home. Lawanda was born 
on Monday, June 15, 1942, in Clovis, New Mexico. Surviving are sons & 
daughters-in-law, Kevin and Dee Turk and Albert and Colette Turk Jr., also 
survived by 5 grandchildren, Valarie, Casey, Zearl, Brittney and Alyson. 
She is preceded in death by husband, Albert "Al" Leroy Turk, son, Frank 
Turk, parents Zearl Rush and Lourine Follis Rush. Friends will be received 
Saturday, September 28, 2013 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely 
& Son Funeral Home - Hammond. Services will be held at Funeral Home Chapel 
- Hammond, Saturday, at 2:00 pm.
