TYRNEY, BETTY JEAN 
A resident of Amite, she died at 9:25 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2005, at West
Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero. She was 66. Graveside service will be
held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Amite Cemetery, Amite. She is survived by her
brother, Jimmy Tyrney, Oregon; sister, Frankie Husser, Dallas; two
sisters-in-law, Anne Tyrney of Amite and Vita Tyrney of Oregon; numerous
nieces and nephews; and special friend, Nelson De-Hass, Amite. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Walter Tyrney Sr. and Mamie Morgan
Tyrney; brothers, Walter "Sug" Tyrney Jr. and George Tyrney; and sister,
Patsy Bankston.
