TYSON, ADDIE LAVERNE ZACHARY    

A resident of Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, New Roads, she died Sunday morning, 
Aug. 31, 2003, at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads. She was 77, born April 
25, 1926, in Amite. Survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Jeannie Tyson, 
Baton Rouge; a daughter and son-in-law, Mickie and Chris Roy, Ventress; five 
grandchildren, Derek Roy, Stephen Tyson, Erica Roy Caswell, Shelly Tyson and Tyson 
Roy; three great-grandchildren, Zachary Caswell, Nicholas Tyson and Christopher 
Caswell; a sister, Mildred "Mickie" Lesage of Waveland, Mo.; and numerous nieces and 
nephews, who loved her dearly. Preceded in death by her husband, Claude W. Tyson; 
parents, Harry and Helen Zachary; a sister, Ada Brown Karney; and a brother, Harry 
Zachary Jr. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. 
to 9 p.m. Monday and in the chapel from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m. Tuesday. 
Pallbearers will be Billy B. Caswell, Tommy Caswell, Derek Roy, Tyson Roy, Stephen 
Tyson and Steve Watts. Honorary pallbearer is J.E. Carlisle.
