MAGDUS A resident of Springfield, she died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at her residence. She was 80 and a native of Wimbur, Pa. Visiting was held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Religious service at St. Margaret Catholic Church, Albany, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by her husband, Anthony P. Ujvari, Springfield; a son, William P. Ujvari, Burbank, Ill.; a daughter, Pearl A. Ujvari Scalzitti, Chicago; and two grandchildren, Petty Officer 1st Class William A. Ujvari and Cherie Marie Ujvari Dillinger. Preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Pearl Gurmidy Magdus; three sisters, Elizabeth Bushman, Mary Kish and Pearl Kish; and a brother, Joseph Magdus.
