UPTON, MRS. ELDON S.

3 Oct 1930; p. 1, col 3:  Mrs. Eldon S. Upton died at home of her
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lester, west of
Hammond, Sunday.  Funeral at home of son, George Upton, in New
Orleans, Monday; interment in New Orleans.  Survived by husband;
daughter and son; other relatives, Mrs. D. R. Berteant of Lake
Charles, Mrs. John M. Upton of Chicago, Mrs. J. D. Lester of
Hammond, Mrs. W. W. Heard of Baton Rouge and Miss Amy Upton.
