VALET, LEROY
LeRoy Valet, 70, a native of New Iberia, and resident of Roseland, died
September 11, 2007, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond.  Visitation will
be today from 5 to 9 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, Amite. The funeral
will be Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Roseland COGIC in
Roseland conducted by Elder Jimmy Richardson.  Burial will be at Big Zion
Cemetery, Roseland.  Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Valet of
Roseland; two sons, Kerry Valet of Roseland, and Kenneth Waye Valet of
Greensboro, N.C.; one daughter, Kawana Valet of New Iberia; three sisters,
Mary Doucette or Rochester, New York, Kimberly Valore of Port Arthur,
Texas, and Deborah Valore of Houston, Texas; three brothers, Lester Edwards
of New Iberia, Edward Placide of Baton Rouge and Martin Valore of Port
Arthur, Texas; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Richardson
Funeral Home, Amite, is in charge.
