He was born on Thursday, March 30, 1950, in Chicago, IL, son of the late Anthony Valure and the late Frances Valure. Ronnie was the owner and operator of Ronnie's Quality Painting. He was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church. Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family and was a avid fisherman. Surviving are son & daughter-in-law, Ronnie Joe Valure and wife Connie Valure, grandchild, Bridget Nicole Valure. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Frances Valure. Friends will be received Monday, June 10, 2013 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond. Services will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond , Monday, June 10, 2013 at 1:00 pm, with Fth. Robert Merced officiating. She was 62, born on April 10, 1946, a native of Tickfaw and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday April 9, was from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Visitation resumes in the funeral home chapel on Friday from 10 a.m. until service at noon. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Marshall and Stacy McGhee, both of Denham Springs; a son, William C. McGhee and wife Tara, of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lena and Elvin McGee, Zachary, and Carol Valure, Baton Rouge; and brother and sister-in-law, Salvador and Paula Valure, Baton Rouge; niece, Danette McGee, Mandeville; and five grandchildren, Blake, Brendan, Haley, Austin and Gage. Preceded in death by her mother, Mary Pecararo Valure; father, Carlo Valure; and three infant brothers. Pallbearers will be Blake Martin, Brendan Buchanan, Corey Marshall, David Kohn, Elvin McGee, Corey Mills, and Ryan Pelletier. Honorary pallbearers are Austin William and Bryson Gage McGhee.
