Anna "Maw Maw Annie" Parrino Vance, 82, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went home to heaven at 10:16 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2006, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Nick and Dianne Vance of Roswell, Ga., and Charley and Lynne Vance of Amite; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joanne Elizabeth Vance Scull and Guy Scull of Roswell and Mary Vance Morain and Michael Morain of Baton Rouge; grandchildren and great- grandchildren, Nicole, Dan, Eleanor and Evelyn McSpirit, Joe Vance and Matthew Vance, Will Vance and Ben Vance, Andrew Joseph Noble and Jill Noble, Jamie Morain Zanovec and Michael Zanovec, Jesse, Amber and Carson Morain, Tessa Morain Dempre and John Dempre. She is also survived by a sister, Lucille Parrino Cox of Grants, N.M., and very dear friends, Jessie and Bill Judge. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Joseph Cecil Vance; father and mother, Nick and Gertrude Rainey Parrino; and three brothers, Kelly, Nick and John Parrino. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church on Friday from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Will and Ben Vance, Jesse Morain, Andrew Noble, Michael Zanovec, John Dempre and Bill Judge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone at Landmark of Baton Rouge Nursing Home and the staff and physicians of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. ***************************************************************************
