VAN NOY, BEATRICE REUTHER
"Bea," a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge,
passed away Monday, June 22, 2009. She was 87. She was a BellSouth
telephone operator and a homemaker. She is survived by three daughters,
Diana Corbin, Barbara V. Mc Mullin and Terri V. Demere; seven grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of
58 years, Fred E. Van Noy; parents, Victor and Mamie Reuther; and brothers,
Victor and Walter Reuther. Pallbearers will be Kerry Demers, Kristopher
Demers, Jordan Demers, James Corbin, Robert Ruether and Brandon Abadie. She
was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Hammond and enjoyed arts and
crafts. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on
Thursday was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumed at the funeral home
chapel on Friday morning starting at 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m.
Interment followed in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
