VALLEY JOSEPH A resident of Robert, he died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 60 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and from 8 a.m. until religious service at 9:30 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Larry Brignac. Interment in St. Paul Cemetery, Mansura, at 2 p.m. Monday. Survived by his wife, Pat Coco Vead, Robert; a daughter, Kristie K. Vead, New Orleans; a brother, Dale Vead, Hessmer; and a half-brother, Gene Ducote, Moreauville. Preceded in death by his parents, Valley and Reva Lambert Vead. He was a member of VFW and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
