VEGA, JEANETTE BARRON
Jeanette Barron Vega, 86 years old of Hammond, died Sunday, December 19, 
2010, at her residence.  She was born on April 29, 1924, in New Orleans, 
daughter of the late Perry Dempsey Barron and the late Effie Elliott Bee 
Barron.  Surviving are her husband, Dr. Paul Vega, M.D.; 2 sons, Paul Vega, 
II and wife Nancy, and Elliott Vega and Wife Shelly; and 3 granddaughters,
Sarah Sedarsky, Elizabeth Vega, and Stephanie Vega.  She is preceded in 
death by her parents; 2 brothers, Perry D. Barron Jr. and Barnard Barron.
Friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 
Tuesday, December 21, 2010, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a memorial 
service at 7:00 PM with Dr. Rodney Taylor officiating.  In lieu of flowers 
donations may be made to North Oaks Hospice, PO Box 2668, Hammond, LA

VEGA, RAFAEL
Mr. Rafael Vega, 56 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away 
Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at his residence.  He was born on Friday, 
October 14, 1955, in Paracuaro, Mexico.  Surviving are his wife, Doris A. 
Vega; daughter, Christina Tolley; daughter, April Ougel; 6 grandchildren, 
Sierra, Bubba, Saige, Kayla, Kassandra and Kellie; 1 brother; 4 sisters; 
and his mother, Aurelia Aguado Vega.  He is preceded in death by his 
father, Lorenzo Vega; 2 sons, Gustavo Sierra, and Adam Gonzales; and a 
brother.  A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 
10:00 am at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  Interment will follow in the 
Parklawn Memorial Gardens Hammond, Louisiana.  An online guest book is
