VERCHER, VIRGINIA McLESTER
Virginia "Jenny" McLester Vercher , 67 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, 
died August 31, 2010, in North Oaks Medical Center.  She was born on 
November 18, 1942, in Cisco, Texas, daughter of the late Willie and Minnie 
Hagaman McLester.  Surviving are husband, Arthur Reed "Butch" Vercher Sr., 
sons & daughters-in-law, Frank and Veronica Vercher, Reed and Molly 
Vercher, grandchildren, Cordell Seely, Dawn Prine, great-grandchildren, 
Breily Frazier, Brion Frazier, and her brother, Bill McLester.  She is 
preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sabrina Vercher and her sister, Nita 
Baham.  Friends will be received on Friday, September 03, 2010, from 
9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 
Louisiana.  Services will be held in the funeral home chapel in Hammond on 
Friday, at 2:00 pm, with Deacon Larry Melancon officiating.  Interment 
will follow in the Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.  An on-line
