She was a native of Lutcher. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Imbraguglio of Ponchatoula; and one brother, Louis C. Tanguis Jr. of LaPlace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules J. Vessier; one son, Thad J. Vessier; one sister, Marjorie Tanguis; and her parents, Louis Sr. and Eugenia Dupepe Tanguis.Visitation will be Saturday at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 8:30 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass will begin at 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ponchatoula. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in the Hammond Daily Star on: Monday, April 28, 1975 VESSIER, HALLIE DUNN DIED: April 26, 1975 Amite- Religious services for Mrs. Hallie Dunn Vessier, who died at 2 a.m. Saturday at Hood Memorial Hospital, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Amite-Arcola Presbyterian Church conducted by the Rev. Kenyon Meeks with burial in Amite Cemetery. She was 65, a native of Arcola and a resident of Amite. She is survived by her husband, Rene L. Vessier, Amite; a son Rene L. Vessier Jr., Amite; two daughters, Mrs. Hank (Cricket) Brumfield, Amite, and Mrs. Jane H. (Hallie) Newton, Lynchburg, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae D. Bracey, Arcola, and Mrs. Xavier (Ethel) LeTard, Amite; 10 grandchildren. She was a member of the Amite-Arcola Presbyterian Church and a retired teacher. McKneely Funeral Home in Amite was in charge of arrangements.
