T. "TONY" A resident of Hammond, he died Friday, Aug. 24, 2001, at his home. He was 65 and a native of Louisville, Ky. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday. Religious services in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by Dr. Rodney Taylor. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Ann D. Vest, Hammond; two daughters, Donna Kay Robbins, Ontario, Calif., and Hollie Lynn Vest, Hammond; two brothers, Paul R. Vest, Nashville, Tenn., and Larry E. Vest, Louisville; and two grand- sons, David Robbins and Daniel Robbins, both of Ontario. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Vest Sr.; four sons, Arthur Vest Jr., Robert, John and Patrick Vest; three daughters, Jeanne Gregory, Gail Ferrell and Carla Patton; one sister, Bobbie Truman; two stepsisters, Charlotte Mitchell and Annie Philbean; two brothers, Butch and John Mitchell; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Neurath & Underwood Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville.
