A resident of Kentwood, he died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at Kentwood Manor Nursing Home in Kentwood. He was 87 and a native of DeKalb, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood, conducted by the Rev. Albert Bartlett.
