She was a native of Cleveland, Miss. Survivors include her daughter, Jane Vickers Polito, Hammond; two sons, John Turner Vickers Jr., Moorehead, Miss., and William Scott Vickers, Columbia, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Turner Vickers Sr.; parents, John W. and Katherine McMahan Scott; and a brother. Visitation will be at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Cleveland Monday from 10 a.m. until the funeral at 11. Burial will be in New Cleveland Cemetery. She was 90 and a native of Roseland. Visitation at Lawrence Baptist Church, Independence, on Wednesday, June 13, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dale Stewart. Interment in Loranger Cemetery, Loranger. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Ellen Gulotta and husband J.B. of Tylertown, Miss., and Agnese Miller and husband Charles Alton of Hillsdale; son, E.H. "Buddy" Vickers and wife Carol of Lafite; 17 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram C.
