VIDRINE, DAVID MITCHELL "MITCH" 
A resident of Greenwell Springs and a native of Ville Platte, he died at 
9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, at Semper Care. He was 53 and a respiratory
therapist at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center since 1978. He
graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Delgado College
in New Orleans. He is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Peggy Ann
Vidrine; a son, Garrett Mitchell Vidrine, affectionately called "Boo Boo"
and "My Little Boy"; stepchildren, Heather and Matthew Lockwood; sister,
Karen Perron and husband Robert, Ville Platte; brother, Tony Vidrine and
wife Michele, Ville Platte; sister, Angie Manuel and husband Troy, Ville
Platte; sister, Theresa Lafleur and husband Randy of Alexandria; father-
in-law and mother-n-law, Carroll and Merryl Meche, Natalbany; brother-in-
law, Joey Meche, Natalbany; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darren and
Rebecca Tate of Amite; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death
by his loving parents, Jimmy and June Vidrine. What a glorious reunion that
will be. Visitation was Monday Aug. 30, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Greenoaks
Funeral Home. Visitation Tuesday Aug. 31, from 10 a.m. until Mass of
Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, celebrated by
the Rev. Tom Duhe. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Many special
thanks to all who came into and touched Mitch's life. Our family expresses
our deepest gratitude to the entire staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional
Medical Center and Semper Care.
