VIERHOUT, BETTY LANELLE PRESTRIDGE
Betty Lanelle Prestridge Vierhout, 70, of Amite, LA and formerly of Bogue 
Chitto, MS died April 4, 2011, at her residence. Visitation is Thursday, 
April 7, 2011, 5:00-9:00 P M at Catchings Funeral Home in McComb, MS. 
Funeral services are 1:00 P M Friday, April 8, 2011 at Catchings Funeral 
home with Rev. Tim Allred officiating.  Burial will be in the Briar Patch 
Cemetery in Husser, LA.  Mrs. Vierhout was born April 3, 1941 in Lincoln 
County, MS to Clifford Lee Prestridge and Jessie Lee Johnson Prestridge. 
She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith. She was a very 
loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who loved 
her.  Survivors include: son: Parrish Brown and wife Jill of Hammond, LA; 
brother: Larry Prestridge and wife Frances of Gonzales, LA; grandchildren: 
Jennifer Glidden of Reserve, LA, Michael Olsen of Hammond, LA and Wesley
Brown of Hammond, LA; great grandchildren: Devin Collins, Victoria Glidden 
and Alex Glidden.  She was preceded in death by parents, husband Connie 
Vierhout, brother: Marvin Prestridge and sister: Charlotte Fitts.

VIERHOUT, CORNELIUS HERBERT 

AMITE - Cornelius Herbert "Connie" Vierhout, 74, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, 
at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. A native Bradenton, Fla., he is 
survived by his wife, Betty Prestridge Vierhout of Amite; two sons, 
Cornelius J. Vierhout of Marshall, N.C., and Parrish Lee Brown of Hammond; 
one daughter, Yvonne Heckman of Deltona, Fla.; six grandchildren and six 
great-grandchildren. His parents, Cornelius and Pauline Vierhout; one son, 
Norman Vierhout; and one grandchild, preceded him in death. The funeral was 
Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at New Sharon Baptist Church east of Amite. Burial 
was in Briar Patch Cemetery. Catchings Funeral Home, McComb, was in charge.
