She was born on Monday, October 9, 1916, in Kentwood, La., daughter of the late Vito Catalano and the late Maurice Catalano. She retired from Southeastern Louisiana University and a member of St. Joseph Society. Surviving are son, Vincent C. Vitrano and wife Eugenia Vitrano, daughters, Rose Vallaroutto and husband J.C.
