M. were held Saturday afternoon, April 8, at 2:00 o'clock from the McKneely Funeral Home, with interment in the Ponchatoula cemetery. The deceased is survived by a son, Joseph Vogelsanger, Jr., and a half-brother Gus Knoph of Mobile, Ala. Mrs. Vogelsanger, the late Margaret Bendix died December 1, 1943. *************************************************************************** Obituary - The Enterprise, Ponchatoula, Louisiana - December 10, 1943 VOGELSANGER, MARGARET BENDIX Mrs. Joseph Vogelsanger Funeral services were held on December 2nd, at the McKneely funeral Home for Mrs. Joseph Vogelsanger, who passed away on December 1st.. Surviving, besides her husband, are one son, Joseph Vogelsanger, Jr. of Ponchatoula, and her mother Mrs. Mary Groner (sic, Mary Groner Bendix), also of Ponchatoula; and two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Bodker of New Orleans and Mrs. A. E. Trotter, Tempe, Arizona. Mrs. Vogelsanger was 59 years of age, and was born in New Orleans but had made her home in Ponchatoula for the past 38 years. Interment was in Ponchatoula, cemetery. Note: Husband's obit says she is Margaret Bendix Vogelsanger
