He was 67. He was a decorated Korean veteran of the U.S. Army. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, 10 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Friday, conducted by Brother Kenneth Istre. Interment in Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery, Amite. Survived by wife, Terry Gray Voight, Amite; a son, Weston Y. Voight, Amite; a daughter, Kimberly Voight Pinion, Ponchatoula; a brother, Thomas Alden Voight, ApacheJunction, N.M.; and six grand- children, Brandon, Crystal, Stephen, Todd, Jaci and Whitney. Preceded in death by parents, C.Y. and Aurie Belle Cotton Voight; and a brother, James Voight. He was a lifetime member of the National Dairy Shrine Club, former 4-H leader of the Amite Community Club, Assistant Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop No. 324 and member of the American Jersey Cattle Club.
