VOSBEIN, EFFIE M. 

Effie M. Vosbein, 96, died Monday, April 28, 2003, at North Oaks Hospital, Hammond.
She was a retired school crossing guard at Metairie Grammar School. She is survived 
by survived by two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Anthony J. Vosbein Sr.; her son, Anthony Vosbein Jr.; her parents, George Vedross 
and Rita Barras Vedross; two sisters, Bessie Lessigne and Andrea Smith; and two 
brothers, Sidney and Louis Vedross. The funeral was today at 11 a.m. at Tharp-
Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, Metairie. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories
