WARTBERG, SADIE FIRMIN
Sadie Firmin Wartberg, age 80 and a resident of Husser died at 11:30 a.m. 
Saturday, March 31, 2012, at her residence.  She was Valedictorian of St. 
JosephÕs Academy in 1948. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survived by: Husband of 60 years: Julius Wartberg of Husser; 2 Sons and 
daughters in law: Mike and Deborah Wartberg of Putnam, AL; Scott and Deana 
Wartberg of Husser; 7 Grandchildren and spouses: Michael Wartberg, Jr. and 
Leanna of Sunnyvale, TX, Troy Wartberg and Christina of Saraland, AL, 
Christopher Wartberg and Krystal of New London, CT, Scott Wartberg, Jr. and 
Lucy Anthony, Jeffery Wartberg and Cheree Coates all of Hammond, Dustin 
Jenkins and Ashley Cowart of Denham Springs, Katelyn Wartberg of Husser; 9 
Great grandchildren; Step Mother: Ledia Firment of Cottonport; 1 Brother: 
Roy Firmin of Sorrento; 2 Sisters and brother in law: Diana Cliff of 
Cottonport, Amy and Charles Firmin of Baton Rouge.  She was preceded in 
death by her parents Hillory and Amy Firmin, 4 brothers Huron Firmin, 
Harris Firmin, Murry Firmin, and Harris Firmin and a granddaughter Mitzi 
Wartberg.  Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at 
Crain Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 6 p.m. in the
