WEAL, RUSSELL LEROY
Ponchatoula -- Russell Leroy Weal, 54, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at
North Oaks Medical Center.  He was a native of Dover, Del.,a veteran and a
food processor.  Survivors include his wife, Shanora W. Weal, Ponchatoula;
his daughters, Sheree Morgan and Shiata Russell, both of Ponchatoula, and
Shamilar Sims, Tickfaw; his sons, Franklin Morgan, Tickfaw, and Luther
Russell, Ponchatoula; his sisters, Elizabeth Worthy, Manassa, Va., and Mary
Langford, Washington, D.C.; his brother, John O. Weal, Tokyo, Japan; 19
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by
his parents, Lillie and Clarence Weal; and his sister, Dolly Johnson.  The
Rev. Bruce Graves will conduct the funeral Monday at 11 a.m. at New Zion
Baptist Church. Burial will be in Ponchatoula Cemetery. Richardson Funeral
Home in Hammond is in charge.
