"W.M." A resident of Denham Springs and a retired credit manager for ANCO Industries with 34 years of service, he died at 6:05 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 63 and a native of Amite. He was a U.S. Army sergeant from 1960 to 1966. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Denham Springs, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Miceli. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by his loving wife, Camille Courtney Wentworth; two daughters, Michelle W. Vince, Pride, and Donna W. Brian and husband Frank, Baton Rouge; a sister, Barbara W. Beatty; a brother, Wyatt O. Wentworth; and four grandchildren, Tony Joseph Vince, Aynsley Camille Brian, Frank Grant Tickie Brian and Briggs Frank Brian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayland Sr. and Theresa Wentworth; and an infant sister. Pallbearers will be Sonny Anderson, Joe Bonfanti, Clark Humphrey, Otis Voss, Donnie Vince, Leonard Verbois, Daryl Chopin and Rudy Melon. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Beatty Jr., ANCO employees, Glen Fink, Randy Felder, Holenn Roussel, Richard Louque, Tim Bender and David, Bruce and Kevin Chopin. He was an outstanding member of the board of directors of Keep Baton Rouge Beautiful, having served two terms as president, served on the Clean Business of the Year Committee, Great American Clean Up Committee, Nominating Committee of Keep America Beautiful, past president of UCT, current member of Livingston Parish Community Band, past president of the Baton Rouge Jaycees and an avid participant in many volleyball and softball tournaments. He was a volunteer grandparent for St. Alphonsus Boy Scout Troop 322. He loved taking his grandchildren camping and fishing at Grand Isle.
