WERFEL, HERBERT
Age 77, a native of Rockville Centre, New York and resident of Hammond,
Herbert passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at St. Tammany Parish
Hospital.  Hebert is survived by his wife, Margaret Werfel; two daughters,
Lisa Moore and husband David, Tamara Schmeer and husband Dave Hinspater;
one grandson, Jordan Schmeer, along with many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine Sussman.  A graveside
service was held at James M. Thompson Cemetery, west of Hammond, on
Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.  The family requests that donations be
made in memory of Mr. Herbert to IWMF (Waldenstromıs Macroglobulinemia),
3932D Swift Rd., Sarasota, FL 34231.  Condolences and other information are

entrusted to Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home of Hammond.
