She was a resident of Baton Rouge and a retired foodservice worker for American Airlines/Sky Chief. She was born June 30, 1925, in Ponchatoula to the late Rev. Julius Randolph and Aldonia Pierre Randolph. The youngest daughter of four children, Adelle graduated from Xavier High School in New Orleans. Adelle is known for her kindness and generosity of spirit demonstrated through her activities for more than 20 years with the Senior Companion Programs in Mount Olive, N.C., as well as in Baton Rouge. She was a volunteer in the Foster Grandparent Program and the Home Mission of Greater King David Baptist Church. Adelle loved arts and crafts and created beautiful leather goods, other decorative items and crocheted bedspreads which she generously showered on to her family and friends. Visiting at Winnfield Funeral Home on Monday, July 7, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting at Greater King David Baptist Church, 222 Blount Road, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Dr. John E. Montgomery II. Repast to follow immediately after the service. Interment in Pine Lawn National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. Survived by three daughters, Carolyn White, Patricia White and Bari Haskins-Jackson; a son, Martin White Nur; sister, Elizabeth Hawkins; a brother, Leonard Randolph; three grandchildren, five great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Lee Jr.; parents; and brother, Andrew Randolph.
