He was a native of Purvis, Miss., and a member of Teamsters Local 5. He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Sandifer of Albany and Norma Lee Albrooks of Gulfport, Miss.; three sons, Lloyd H. Albritton of Satsuma, David L. Whitten of Gulfport and Norman Kenneth Whitten of Livingston; one sister, Ava Lee Bryant of Moss Point, Miss.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Whitten; his parents, Lem and Emily Whitten; one sister, Ionia Riley; and two brothers, L.J. Whitten and Homer Whitten. A private graveside service will be held at Palmetto Cemetery, Walker. Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, is in charge. ********************************************************************************
