WHORTON, CARL EDMOND, SR.
Carl Edmond "Bogart" Whorton Sr., 60 years old of Ponchatoula, LA, died
Friday, March 2, 2007 in North Oaks Medical Center.  Carl was born Sunday,
April 14, 1946 in New Orleans,  Surviving are 2 sons & daughters-in-law,
Carl Edmond Whorton Jr. and Tara Whorton, John Louis Whorton and Patricia
Ann Whorton; son, Chris Edmond Whorton Sr.; daughter and son-in-law,
Shawntel Chauppette Whorton Guillot and Troy Guillot; daughter, Jennifer
Leigh Whorton; 2 sisters, Priscilla Ann Morris, Shana Whorton; step-mom,
Carolyn Mathis; grandchildren, Carl Andrew, Tyler, Christopher Jr., Brooke,
Nicholas, Sara , Zoe and Dustin; previous wives who are still dear friends,
Janet Sparks and Pamela Lamonte.  He was preceded in death by parents:
Johnny Whorton and Patricia Dangelo Whorton.  Friends will be received
Sunday, March 4 from 6:00p.m. until 10:00p.m. and on Mon. from 8:00a.m.
until services. at the Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond,
Louisiana.  Services will be held at funeral home chapel Monday, March 5,
2007 at 11:00A.M.  Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery,
