WICKER, ALVIN
A resident of Saginaw, Mich., for more than 40 years, he departed this life
Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 70
and a native of Greensburg. Religious service at Turner Chapel AME Church,
871 Turner Chapel Road, Greensburg, on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m.,
conducted by the Rev. Stanley J. Carter. Interment in the church cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Kevin and Kenneth Wicker, both of New Orleans;
two daughters, Aldreama Amacker and Marilyn Windind, both of Baton Rouge;
seven brothers, John Wicker, of Los Angeles, Roger Matthews, of Greensburg,
Isaiah Wicker, of Vallejo, Calif., and Allen, Curtis, Donald Ray and
Clifford Wicker, all of Flint, Mich.; three sisters, Ella Taylor, of
Greensburg, Elaine Chaney, of New Orleans, and Julia Love, of Flint;
grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Arrangements by
MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home Inc.

WICKER, ELIGA JR. 
Kentwood -- Eliga Wicker Jr., 37, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Hood
Memorial Hospital, Amite.  He worked as a boilermaker.  Survivors include
one daughter, Ashley C. Wicker of Kentwood; one son, Ryan M. Wicker of
Kentwood; his parents, Sandra N. Parsons Wicker and Eliga Wicker Sr. of
Kentwood; and four sisters, Barbara W. Harris of Clinton, Debra W. Lowe,
Cathy W. and Glenda W. McIntyre, all of Kentwood.  Visitation will be today
at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8 a.m.
until the funeral at 11. The Rev. Richard Magee will conduct the service,
and burial will be at Wilmer Cemetery, Wilmer.

WICKER, ELIGA R. N.
A resident of Kentwood, died at 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 
Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite. He was born March 17, 1928 in Liberty, MS 
and was 84 years of age. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He is 
survived by his wife, Sandra Nell Parsons Wicker, Kentwood; 4 daughters, 
Barbara A. Harris, Clinton, Debra K. Lowe, Kentwood, Cathy S. McIntyre, 
Kentwood and Glenda F. McIntyre, Kentwood; 11 grandchildren, Jason Harris, 
Joshua Porta, Jessica McIntyre, Eric McIntyre, Clay McIntyre, Ashley 
Wicker, Ryan Wicker, Rocky Graham, Jr., Brandon Graham, Rusty Graham and 
Crystal Graham; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his son, Eliga 
Wicker, Jr.; grandson, Wes McIntyre; his parents, Reuben Wicker, Ida Bryant 
Smith and Alvie Smith. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 
p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 
11 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Services conducted by Bro. Richard 
Magee and Bro. Jason Skipper. Interment Wilmer Cemetery, Wilmer. For an
