WIGINTON, BILLY ROY
Ponchatoula - Billy Roy Wiginton, 73, died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at North Oaks 
Medical Center, Hammond.  He is survived by his wife, Dolores Perilloux Wiginton 
of Ponchatoula; one son, Billy R. Wiginton Jr. of Dallas; one daughter, Rona W. 
Hollyer of Katy, Texas; two sisters, Bobby Sue Pierce of Hammond, and Nancy Jane 
Gerlaugh of Hammond; two brothers, Louis Wiginton of Loranger and Mark Wiginton 
of Minden; and four grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Terry 
Scott Wiginton; his parents, Dr. M.C. Wiginton and Emma Verlander Wiginton; and 
one sister, Mable Wiginton.  A memorial service will be held at a later date. 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.

WIGINTON, NANCY JANE FRIDAY
Mrs. Marquis D. Wiginton, 83, mother of Dr. M. C. Wiginton of Hammond, died
Wednesday at the Wiginton Memorial Hospital.  Mrs. Wiginton, the former
Nancy Jane Friday, was a native of Fulton, Miss.  During the past few years
she had made her home in Hammond in order to be under the care of her son
at the infirmary.  Services were held Wednesday from the Poole Funeral
Home.  The remains were taken to Tremont, Miss. for interment.  Besides Dr.
Wiginton, she is survived by one other son; seven daughters; and a number
of grandchildren and great, grandchildren.
