WILDER, WARREN JOSEPH
Warren Joseph Wilder, 64, of Baton Rouge, died peacefully at his home on
Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, surrounded by his family. He was the son of the
late A.E. and Adele Mary Wilder. Warren was the executive director of the
American Council of Engineering Companies of Louisiana for the past 35
years. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sarah Elizabeth DePriest
Wilder. He is also survived by his children, Patrick Michael Wilder,
Dothan, Ala., Bradley Alton Wilder, Newnan, Ga., and Christopher Dewey
Wilder, Baton Rouge; two very special nieces whom he considered to be his
own daughters, Ashley Virginia Ard, Baton Rouge, and Whitney Blaire
O'Flynn, Hammond; and two brothers, his twin, William James Wilder, of
Houma, and Emmett Joseph Wilder, Baton Rouge. He is also survived by eight
grandchildren, Austin, Bailey, Natalie, Michaela, Gabrielle and Anelise
Wilder and Ethan and Aileen O'Flynn. Visitation services are scheduled for
Sunday, Oct. 28, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East,
11000 Florida Blvd. Funeral Mass will be Monday, Oct. 29, at 11 a.m. at St.
George Catholic Church on Siegen Lane, with visitation from 10 a.m. until
service time. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family
of Mr. Wilder would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge for their
outstanding care and service to their loved one.
