WINGATE, ALBERTA MARY PENALBER "AUNT BEA"
A resident of Mansura, she died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at Christus St. Frances 
Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria. She was 84 and a native of Maurepas. Visitation at 
Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. 
Visitation at Maurepas Baptist Church, Maurepas, from 9 a.m. until religious 
services at 11 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Glynn Reine and the Rev. 
Clint Penalber. Interment in Maurepas Cemetery. She is survived by numerous 
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wingate; five 
brothers, Richard, Bush, Frank, Joe and Emanuel Penalber; and three sisters, 
Bernice Penalber, Edna Penalber Balfantz and Gladys Penalber Dauzat.
