Died at 12:20 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. She was 93, a native of Miami, and a resident of Loranger. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 p.m. until religious service at 3 p.m. Sunday. Service conducted by the Rev. Dale Zeibarth and the Rev. Steve Elston. Interment in Hayden Grove Cemetery, Amite. Survived by three daughters, Ruth Lee, Rebecca O'Neal and Rachel Fernandez, all of Loranger; a son, David L. Winnett, Bell Buckle, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Homer C.
