WINSTON, HELEN M.
Covington - Helen M. Winston, 67, died Friday, May 30, 2003, at St. Tammany 
Parish Hospital, Covington.  Survivors include her husband, Robert Winston of 
Covington; one daughter, Brenda Paul of Covington; two stepdaughters, Denise and 
Cynthia Winston, both of Milwaukee; two sons, Tommy Garrett and Bobby Garrett, 
both of Covington; one stepson, Robert Winston Jr. of Milwaukee; 15 grand-
children and five great-grandchildren.  Her mother, father, two sisters, Ruby 
Brown and Willie Mae Ellis; two brothers, William Robertson Jr. and Connie White; 
all preceded her in death.  Visitation will be today at Mount Pilgrim Baptist 
Church, Covington, from 6 p.m. until the funeral at 8. Dismissal will be Thursday
 at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery.  Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, 
is in charge.

WINSTON, LETCHER GEROME "CHEESE"
A resident of Amite, he departed this life Friday, November 4, 2011 as 
result of an automobile accident. He was 21.  Religious service at Mount 
Bethel Baptist Church, 46877 Durbin Rd. Ext., Albany at 11 a.m. Friday, 
November 11, 2011.  Conducted by Rev. Andrew Jackson.  Interment in Holly 
Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.  Survived by his mother, Chiquita Winston of 
Amite; father, Glean Smith of Hammond; maternal grandmother, Billie 
Dedrick of Amite; paternal grandmother, Minnie Dantzler of Hammond; three 
sisters, Jasmen Pea and Juan Quale Pea both of Amite and Gleansay Smith 
of Hammond; fiance' Jelisa Glober of Amite; aunts, including his very 
special aunt, Sally Henry of Brookhaven, MS.; uncles, cousins and other 
relatives and friends.  Arrangements entrusted to MJR Friendly Service 
Funeral Home, Denham Springs.

WINSTON, ROBERT
Covington - Robert Winston, 76, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003. He was a native of 
Lumberton, Miss., a U.S. Army veteran and a carpenter.  He is survived by three 
daughters, Antionette Winston of Milwaukee, Cynthia Winston of Hammond and Brenda 
Paul of Covington; six sons, Robert Winston Jr. of Milwaukee, Laddie and Bryant 
McLemore, both of Lumberton, Nell McLemore of Lafayette and Bobby and Tommy 
Garrett, both of Covington; two sisters, Evelyn Blackston of Hattiesburg, Miss., 
and Celia B. Hart; one brother, Frank Winston of Hollywood, Fla.; 20 grand-
children and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one 
daughter, two sisters and three brothers.  Visitation will be today at Mount 
Pilgrim Baptist Church, Covington, from 6 p.m. until the wake at 8. The Rev. 
Clayton Neal will conduct the funeral Thursday at 1 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist 
Church, Lumberton, Miss. Burial will be in Big Quarters Cemetery, Lumberton, 
Miss.  Richardson Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge.
