He was a native of Washington, D.C. He was a retired Baptist minister having retired from First Baptist Church of Harvey and was a member of First Baptist Church in Independence. He was a former employee of National Gypson and Shell Oil Co. and was a member of the Masons. He is survived by four daughters, C. Colleen Wise of New Orleans, Kitty L. Wise of Metairie and Frankie W. Terry and Jackie W. Schmidt, both of Marrero; two brothers, Charles C. Wise of Washington, D.C., and Frank A. Wise of Tennessee; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dawn E. Wise; and his parents, Charles Conrad and Rena Sweeney Wise. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, is in charge. ********************************************************************************
