She is survived by her grandmother, Bettie Young, St. Francisville; daughter, Bettie Pierre, Hammond; son, Alfred Woodall III, Independence; two brothers, James Young and Robert Young, both of St. Francisville; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was born on September 3, 1945, in Natalbany, daughter of the late Julius Chavers and the late Evelyn Smith Chavers. Surviving are husband of 45 years, Carroll "Woody" Woodall, daughter, Robyn Woodall, grandson, Garrett Woodall, sister, Bobbie Chavers, brother, J.W. Chavers. She is preceded in death by brother, James Earl Chavers, sister, Mary Ann Hess and an infant son. Friends will be received Saturday, December 04, 2010 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Louisiana. Services will be held at Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Rodney Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Zion Hill Cemetery Albany, Louisiana. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Woodall; mother, Florence Woodall; three daughters, Nicosia Harden, Kierra Woodall and Sierra Woodall; son, Akheim Norflin; two sisters, Aldreamer Butler and Alfreda Young; four brothers, Fredrick Woodall, Alfred Woodall, Johnnie Lee Woodall and William Holmes; and a grandchild, Renisha Dunn. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Woodall; grandmother, uncle and father-in-law. Pallbearers will be Alfred Woodall III, Larry Cummings, Claude Norflin, Johnnie Lee Woodall, William Holmes and Nolan Webb. Honorary pallbearers are James Jones, Ledell Rayford, Chris Williams, Johnathan Smith, Chris Smothers and Harris Coleman.
