He was a native of Philadelphia, was employed in construction, served as building inspector for the government during World War II overseeing construction of munition plants and following the war became southeastern sales manager for Flintcoat Corp. Survivors include three sons, Earl Yeomans, New Orleans, David Yeomans, Hammond, and Ken Yeomans, Lafayette; seven grand- children and two great-grandchildren.His parents, three brothers, a sister and two wives, Florence Miller and Elizabeth Karst Yeomans, preceded him in death. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Metairie, Thursday at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Manresa House of Retreats, P.O. Box 89, Convent 70723. His body was donated to LSU Medical Center.
