Born to Leon and Elizabeth Campbell on Oct. 31, 1926, she was 84 years, 364 days old. Prior to Baton Rouge, she was a resident of Alexandria and Tickfaw. She was a dedicated employee of Wal-Mart Inc. for the past 16 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, G. W. McClendon and Paul Yersavich; a sister, Mildred Maxwell; and a brother, Austin Campbell. She is survived by her beloved pet, Lizzy; her children, Harry Bernard, Penny Dreher, Patsy Butler, Mack McClendon and his wife, Mary Anne, and Ruth Bergeron and her husband, Larry; grandchildren, Britt Bernard, Bridget Lamb, Brian Bernard, Barry Spillman, Cathy Spillman, Mac Spillman, Preston Butler, Shane Butler, Katie McClendon, Larry Bergeron Jr., Renae Blaze and Richie Bergeron; along with 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; special friends Betty Dawson, Azalie Williams, and John Walker; along with other relatives and close friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Venkat Surakanti, Dr. William Hines, and the staff of the RCU at Our Lady of the Lake Reional Medical Center.
