STOGSDILL Lovella M. Stogsdill Yohe, 74, of Indianapolis went to be with her Lord on Sunday, April 1, 2007, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn. Lovella loved her church and the work of her Lord. She and her husband were co-founders of the Lighthouse Ranch for Boys in Loranger in 1970. They took in, cared for and raised more than 6,500 boys since it began, one of whom is now the director of the ranch and loved as their own. She was also very proud of the 32 countries she visited with missions over her lifetime. Part of her work included founding The Great Plains District of the United Pentecostal Church. Lovella also loved to praise God with her voice and, at one time, turned down a recording offer with RCA. In her travels, she liked to collect dolls and share them with her family and friends. She was a true worker for Christ and for her family. She will be dearly missed by the many, many lives she touched and changed. Visitation at First Pentecostal Church, Denham Springs, on Wednesday, April 4, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. T.F. Tenney and the Rev. Ray Johnson.
